🌼 Spring Cleaning Challenge

Dear Busy Mom,

I’m guessing you’re not a huge fan of spring cleaning. Neither am I!

Here’s the thing. When we make an effort to deep clean some areas of our home, we are caring for our home. It’s just a bit of what God has given us to take care of and we want to do that well. Daily life can be overwhelming and make us feel that there is just no way possible that we could actually do spring cleaning.

Spring cleaning sounds overwhelming, but it does not have to be an all or nothing thing.

I am inviting you to participate in the Spring Cleaning Challenge by becoming a Home Organizing Community Member. Click the subscribe button to review your options of joining the community. The Spring Cleaning Challenge is for paid and premier subscribers. Continue below to see exactly what is happening in the Spring Cleaning Challenge. It’s likely not what you’ve seen or are used to.

What to expect in the Spring Cleaning Challenge

  1. Spend time over the course of 3 days creating a plan and preparing for spring cleaning.

Determine what needs to be cleaned compared to the amount of time you have to make it happen. There’s no sense in planning to deep clean your bathroom cabinets if they are filled with stuff accumulated over 10 years when you won’t actually have the time to take everything out, decide what to do with it and do what needs to be done with it all. Review what tools and supplies you may need and ensure you have them on hand before starting. If you’re not sure what tools or supplies are needed, you’ll have me to ask!

  2. Tackle the areas you planned to deep clean, taking it week by week and adjusting as needed.

You’ll share with the community what your plan is for the upcoming week, any questions you have, before pictures, after pictures and anything else you’d like to share. This community will support you. I’ll be guiding you, offering encouragement and motivation along the way and answering your questions.

  3. Regular times to connect via Zoom or Google Meet with the community.

As questions arise or discussion is needed, I’ll host connecting time for the community on a Zoom or Google Meet video conference. You will be able to contribute to the discussion to get your personal situations resolved and share solutions that you’ve learned with others.

  4. Live Q&A sessions as the need arises.

I envision these being weekly, but want to adjust based on the needs of the community.

I pray that you feel seen, heard, cared for and loved.
